Taking a self guided tour of Canadice or Hemlock Lake lets you set the pace and destination. You can choose to paddle the length of the lake if you're feeling adventurous or just hug the shore and take it easy. There are several beautiful places along the shore to stretch your legs or stop for a picnic. We'll deliver the gear and show you your options; the itinerary is up to you!
Canadice Lake Outfitters offers guided tours of Canadice, Hemlock and nearby Honeoye and Canandaigua lakes. Join us for a paddle and meet new friends as we learn more about the history and people that lived here long ago. Check out our Facebook Events page for schedule of events. These tours are open to anyone whether you have your own gear or need to rent from us.
Are you looking for more than just some time on the water? This "biathlon" lets you paddle the length of the lake from the south kayak launch to the north end boat launch. We'll have the bike staged and ready to go so you can complete the 7-mile-loop on the west side bike path. If that's not enough, we'll show you where you can add a hike up Rob's Trail or up the East gully to the north-end waterfall-loop.
Hemlock and her sister Canadice offer some of the best fishing of any of the Finger Lakes. Our kayaks and canoes are ideal for a getting into shallow or tight places, giving you the best chance to land a nice bass, pan fish and many other species.
Join us in the twilight hours for our full moon or meteor shower paddle. This is a truly unique experience when we float along, and we watch the moon rise over the hillside in its full splendor. Canadice Lake offers excellent viewing of meteor showers since there are no city lights
Bike Tour (regular rental rates):
Do you want to see the lake from a different vantage point? We have bike rentals so you can peddle instead of paddling all along the west shore haul road. This is a nice gravel trail with moderate hills and you'll always have a view of the lake. You can explore the remains and foundations of the cottages that dotted the lake drive years ago.
SUP Yoga: Sundays 9:00am
Join us for a yoga on Paddleboards. It's easier than you think. Each class starts with some free time or lesson on the basics followed by a short paddle to yoga bay. Mandy will lead the session allowing you to participate at your level. After the lesson portion you'll have another 30 minutes of free time to check out more of the lake.

Have you ever heard of geocaching, but never knew where to start? There are more than 50 caches that are all around the lake, many are only accessible by water. You can download a geo-caching app on your smart phone and go treasure hunting by kayak or canoe.
Canadice Lake Outfitters can accommodate groups up to 35 in size. Consider a day on the lake for your next birthday party, team event, work group getaway, church group, outing club or school group.
